Solea Mactan Cebu Resort

It is no doubt that Mactan Island,Cebu has many beach resorts with great facilities. But if you want to try something new and far from the location where most resorts are clustered, Solea Mactan is the place perfect for your getaway. Found on the other side of the island, the location itself guarantees a relaxing time away from the busy scene. As you enter the property, you are welcomed with lush greeneries. Stepping into the building, the lobby is set in a fresh contemporary interior filled with fine pieces of furniture that are crafted locally. The staff were very accommodating, they greeted us with welcome drinks upon arriving at the lobby.

We stayed in the presidential suite, which consists of two bedrooms with their own bathroom, a common tiolet, small kitchen, a dining area, and a huge living room. The interior is designed with neutral tones and fresh contemporary pieces, which makes the ambiance of the suite relaxing. The room is good for 4 adults plus 2 children, perfect for sharing. Almost every area also has an access to the balcony, which had a great view of Cordova's vast sea. Their usual room price ranges from Php 4,700 - Php 11,000.

You not only get to see the whole resort's outdoor amenities, but the also the calmness of the vast sea.

Solea Mactan has various pools you can dip into. They have the infinity pool, the main pool which has slides and lounge areas, the kiddie pool, which has a lot of slides and water features, and lastly the man made lagoon, you can do kayaking in this area.

Infinity pool is located near the lobby area. You can get the Bali vibes with this pool.

The resort has one in house restaurant, called Earth restaurant. They have buffet but you also have the option to order in ala carte as well. When you dine at Earth during dinner time, make sure to try out the seafood section. Of all the buffet that I've tried in Cebu, their seafood buffet section is the best one for me.

Staying at Solea Mactan Resort was very pleasant. From the ambiance, to the food, the experience was overall satisfying. What I love the most is the resort itself, the place is so refreshing and clean. Every corner is scenic and has its own charm. If you're looking for a resort wherein you really want to unwind and relax, this place is surely a perfect getaway.
